About
Patrick James Fitzroy is an international award winning multi-instrumentalist, producer and mixer based out of his recording studio, Stranger Sounds in East London. Having discovered his gift of perfect pitch from a young age, Patrick has a unique sensibility towards music, applying his synesthetic relationship with sound in his approaches towards harmony, songwriting, and music production.
In 2019, he acted as musical director and performed on synth and bass guitar with 4AD artist PIXX, touring all around the UK, Europe and continental North America promoting her second album, 'Small Mercies'.
Patrick also performed as guitarist with 'Yuck' frontman Max Bloom, promoting his debut solo album, 'Perfume' released in 2020, as well as his sophomore release 'Pedestrian' the following year.
In 2023, Patrick's production work on the posthumous final album of Miro Zbirka, in collaboration with his son David Zbirka of Sunnbrella saw multiple award wins, including Best Album and Best Single at the Andel Awards in Prague, Czech Republic that year. The album, released on Universal Music, went double gold in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
In 2024, Patrick headlined the Bad Vibrations stage at Wide Awake Festival with London supergroup tribute act Bryne's Night, as well as performing the Walled Garden stage at Green Man Festival the same year.
